Veteran Bridge Program
Veteran and Military Affairs will host the next Veteran Bridge Program from Aug. 4-15, 2025. This program helps student veterans become more familiar with the 91短视频 Boulder campus and improve their math, writing and research skills in a supportive environment.听
The Aug. 2025 program will be held in person on the 91短视频 Boulder campus. Participants should be available to attend sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.听
Students must be admitted to 91短视频 Boulder for the fall 2025 term, either as degree-seeking students or through the ACCESS program. ACCESS students need a recommendation from a Continuing Education advisor.听
Program Details
There is no cost for student veterans to participate in the bridge program (students must be registered for the fall term).听
- Program opening: Sunday, Aug. 3 (time TBD)
- Course and campus instruction: Weekdays, Aug. 4-15
- Included: Parking pass, light breakfast and mid-day meals听
A $1,500 stipend will be awarded to the student鈥檚 university account upon program completion.听
Please note: Housing is not provided during the program. If you are living in campus housing, we encourage you to reach out to the housing office to confirm your earliest move-in date.听
Dates and Deadlines
The August program is limited to 40 participants. Applications will be accepted starting May 1 and will continue until July 1 or until the program is full. If applications exceed the limit, students may be placed on a waitlist and notified of their status by July 15.听
鈥淚 would have spent the first semester in Boulder isolated and alone, learning the ropes in a new town, but because of the bridge program, before school even started, I had a strong network of friends and people to turn to. Program Outcomes
In the first semester and subsequent terms, veterans who attended the Bridge program have an average GPA of .25 to .3 higher than non-Bridge-attending veterans.
In the first semester and in subsequent terms, veterans who attended the Bridge program are retained at approximately a 10% higher rate than non-Bridge-attending veterans.
